The City University of New York is pleased to announce its fourth annual TEDxCUNY Conference: Wild Card! As the first and only public university TEDx University Conference in New York City, TEDxCUNY is the largest TEDx University event in the nation representationally, covering 24 campuses and over half a million students. This year we are highlighting how variability drives communities both large and small to challenge the status quo, and how human unpredictability enhances the human experience.
Our speakers are artists, activists, hip hop musicians, and fashionpreneurs (among many other things!). Hosted by CUNY's very own Lucien Formichella. Experiences include artworkshowcases, an exclusive Shine Global screening of their Academy Award winning documentary, hands-on VR experiences by Hubneo and Pop Up Gaming, and Bai sampling. Workshop partners include Skill Mill NYC, mentalist/illusionist Alex Voz, Baruch College's Femcode, and Gibney Dance. The first 500 attendees will receive a swag bag including stickers, Viter Energy mints, KIND bars, notebooks from Leuchtturm1917, and much much more! Insomnia cookies will be available.
The CUNY Graduate Center is located at 365 5th Avenue, New York, NY.
